“I’ve been working with PADGETT CONNECT for a little under a year now and I wish I had been using it since I started my business because it makes book keeping so much easier and less time consuming!
I used to waste a lot of time each month focusing on if I was correctly entering our records into the books, but now I just type in the information and let PADGETT CONNECT calculate and categorize everything for me. Currently, we process approximately 150 checks per month on average and entering them, as well as all of our receipts, into the PADGETT CONNECT Checkbook every month is honestly a breeze. I usually spend the last half of one workday per month entering them into the Checkbook and that’s all it takes, maybe three or four hours time for the whole month’s worth of book keeping.
Once we receive our bank statements at the end of the month, I double check everything against our records and then enter our receipts and disbursements into the Checkbook. It categorizes everything automatically for us and produces monthly summaries and cash flow reports right there on the spot so we can see how well we did that month. Bank Reconciliations are a breeze as well, I just check everything against our bank statement and point-and-click and it’s done! It’s very intuitive and I can see people who aren’t too familiar with computers learning it quickly. Then, when everything is entered in and reconciled, I just email the monthly file over to my Padgett accountants and they double check everything and produce all of our monthly financials from that.
Overall, it allows me to focus my time on more productive things for my business by doing all of the book keeping grunt work for me.”
