License Fee $25,000

Your investment in Padgett Business Services reflects the benefits of joining a company at our advanced stage of growth and development. You receive a license to operate a Padgett Business Services office, join the community of Padgett Business Services franchise owners and become the Padgett representative in your area. Both you and your new business benefit from becoming an integral part of a stable and professional organization. Awarding you a franchise represents our commitment to each other.

Training Fee $12,500

This one-time fee represents initial and ongoing training mandatory for all new Padgett franchise owner. The training is conducted by seasoned and experienced personnel who lead you step-by-step through the theory and into the practical applications of the Padgett System. Training consists of the following seminars:

Organization

Covers the methods and procedures of the operation of Padgett Business Services office and includes client management, client training, effective employee control, pricing, Padgett products and all procedures relating to the monthly servicing of your customers.

Computer/Technology

Involves the total operation of the Padgett proprietary-designed software. Which includes client accounting, payroll record processing, data security and growth strategies.

Marketing

Addresses the initial training and planning for opening your new office and covers the strategies for obtaining and keeping clients. This is designed to help new Padgett franchise owners develop effective marketing programs based on their own personal styles and individual strengths.

Your training doesn’t end in the classroom. Following your completion of the two weeks of training, a Padgett representative visits you in the field and continues your training through hands-on guidance. This includes helping you run your business on a daily basis, network with the local community, and build relationships to help you grow your client list.

Royalty Fee - Ranging from 9% to 4.5%

The royalty fee is based on gross revenue collected from the practice of tax and accounting in your office. The ongoing monthly royalty gives you total and unlimited access to all levels of support, including system research and development, manual updates, internal and external newsletters, software updates and attendance at all future training courses and seminars conducted by Padgett Business Services. The royalty fee declines as practice revenue increases.
